Graduate fees and funding

Before starting your graduate program, understand your tuition fees and learn about available funding.

Funding

MSc students

  • Minimum funding for MSc students is $20,500 per 12-month period for up to 24 months.

PhD students

  • Minimum funding for Psychology PhD students is $21,000 per 12-month period for up to 48 months.
  • Minimum funding for Clinical Psychology PhD students is $21,000 per 12-month period for up to 36 months, with a paid internship in the 4th year.

Graduate Assistantships – Teaching

If you don't have external scholarships (SSHRC, NSERC, CIHR, AHFMR, etc) you're guaranteed Graduate Assistantships (GATs) and Faculty of Graduate Studies Scholarships (GSS) for two years in the MSc program, and three years for the Clinical PhD program and four years for the Psychology PhD program.
